Seth Deutsch

Seth Deutsch is a proven growth leader, serving as an operating partner, coach, board member, and CEO. He has a successful track record of delivering profitable growth for private equity-backed, founder/family-owned, and public companies.

Seth previously served as a board member and Chief Growth Officer at a rapidly growing provider of finance and accounting services to the private equity industry. In a two-year span, he scaled the business from 50 to over 400 employees and successfully recapitalized the company, resulting in a 6X MOIC.

More recently, Seth founded Samson Operating Partners to assist other founders and CEOs in achieving their goals. He has had the privilege of serving exceptional leaders. Through Samson, he sits on the boards of numerous family/founder-led and private equity-backed companies, including RUI (a restoration platform), Roofed Right America (a re-roofing platform), The CSM Group (an industrial construction management platform), Litco (a consumer legal platform), and America’s Best (a re-flooring platform).

Over his distinguished career, Seth has had numerous successful exits and has architected nine buy-and-build platforms, executing over 60 add-on acquisitions.

Prior to all that stuff, Seth held executive leadership positions at AECOM, one of the world’s largest professional technical services firms, where he led two multi-billion-dollar divisions. He also served as CEO of a national, private equity-backed HVAC and refrigeration services company.

Seth is the proud pet parent to Blue and Daffodil, and somehow his spouse of 18 years, Nadia, continues to tolerate him. He played and coached basketball at Rice, but Nadia – an avid Buckeye fan – insisted he root for the Ohio State University, so you’ll often spot him in OSU gear, and Daffodil and Blue will often be on Zooms with him. All of his NDAs extent to the dogs as well.
